Test Your Personal Power

A little bit of weird humor today. Very simple system. You can implement it or just imagine.

Let’s say you enter the crowded place and talk to the first person who comes along. Say something like this: “Hi. I want to completely change your beliefs“.

Here are possible reactions that determine your personal power:

  1. “No. I don’t want it”, “What?!”, “Some other time” mean you have not enough charisma power.
  2. You are just ignored, everyone passes by with your voice having absolutely no effect: you speak too quietly, you are invisible man, you speak some foreign language.
  3. If you say ”Hi. I want to completely change your beliefs. And I’ll pay for it” and the person stop and gives you a try – you have a money power.
  4. You still say ”Hi. I want to completely change your beliefs. And I’ll pay for it” but nothing happens, you are ignored and hear “No” - you have not enough charisma power.
  5. If you have a gun in your hand say ”Hi. I want to completely change your beliefs. Listen to me or die!” and the person stop and gives you a try - you have a gun power.
  6. If you have a gun in your hand say ”Hi. I want to completely change your beliefs. Listen to me or die!“ but nothing happens, you are ignored and hear “No” - you have not enough charisma power.
  7. If you just had time to say “Hi” and immediately everyone is seem to be listening – you have a speaker power.
  8. If you just had time to say “Hi“ and immediately the stream of abuse starts and someone is throwing stones in your direction – you have charisma power, but possible you have chosen the wrong crowded place.
  9. If you can’t say nothing because you are surrounded by guards with gags – you have the forbidden knowledge power.
  10. If after your ”Hi. I want to completely change your beliefs” the crowd divides in two parts, with the bigger one hoisting a flag with a “Status Quo” label on it, and a smaller one starting communicating between each over – you have the leadership power.
  11. If there is only one part of crowd and its yours – you have a hypnotic power.
  12. If when you are entering the crowded place you are already being followed by thousands of madman-like people screaming “CHANGE!” - are you Barack Obama?
  13. If when you are arriving at the crowded place everyone is seeking safety in flight – you have too much charisma power.
  14. If you are keeping silence but still people come to you asking “Can you change my beliefs, please?” – you have a power of man who’s got something to say.
  15. If you just do not do anything at all, but more and more people come to acknowledge you, because “You changed my whole life. You’ll be always on my ‘thank you’ list” – do you have an amnesia?

This list can be easily supplemented with more weird conditions. Maybe you have something to add?

So, what this all was about? Easy: humor is everywhere, you just have find it. There is always a different way of thinking. Thinking, in my opinion, is all about the different ways, otherwise it is a repetition.
