@ay (the '@' notation came from Twitter)

Thanks!

I agree, impertinence is everywhere, but not everywhere it is reasonable.
To my thinking, the reason often is the illusion of power: "the world is
yours" and so on. And of course high availability of idols that leads to
"I want it too". So, the mind loses the ground and permissiveness comes in.

To continue conversation there are two options:
  1. Invite like-minded people
  2. Think on "how?" question -- how to teach people to look inside

I'm thinking on this now.

thank you for your answer!

intemperance - that is the right word, i agree, - combined with high selectivity. if only it would not turn to impertinence.

concerning projection, a psychological term, it also seems sometimes, that things were easier in childhood times when we did not have such strong division between inner and outer and we physically could not make our choice in favour of the external reasons

i would not like this conversation to reach a deadlock but we coincide in the idea of reasons that lay inside, of the inner man and so on. and the only thing to want is to have some more like-minded people

wish you success in your project!

ps. why do you use the @ symbol? isn't it read as "at" and not "to"? anyway, such form of address looks rather stylish.

@ay

You touch a very important problem. Thank you!

The opportunities around us are a double-edged sword.
One can see the chance to make the world a better place,
while other can dream of world domination.

People always seem to want more. Some call it development,
some call it intemperance, some even call it wilderness.

I think, there is at least one BIG reason for this. Here it is.

We are trained to think outwardly, in reaction to the external
stimuli and in external terms. So when we think about our
internal problems we still think in external terms. Similar to
was is called projection in psychology.

It makes us to search outside eagerly. But solution was never
there. It is inside.

You are right about inner sound man. We need to turn to him.
Really need. And when we read the words G.G.Marquez wrote
we silently turn to him even without any notice of turn.

hi
my feedback is connected with your statement that: So, not the system is responsible for the future. People are. Me and you are. What are we waiting for? Today we have much more opportunities to think, communicate and take action than ever before(c)
i've always wondered whether this wider range of possibilities is to make something easier, better and someone happier? looking back and comparing the present man's activity and ambitions one of the most obvious things beomes clear - that people just can't get enough. that is proved even by you when you say that they ( actually, we) always tend to find 35 lame excuses and explanations. that is the problem. why is it always better somewhere there and not here, and why we prefer to use conditional than simple future: if i had more possbilities/options/friends/whatever, i would do /whatever/..
may be that is why the letter of G.G.Marquez touches us, our inner hard-working and sound man who is so veiled with all that stuff that he hardly breathes
i guess we lack passion, lack iniciative, lack strength, lack beauty - what can be worse
and to my mind we underestimate the good the self-education may bring
but you are 100% right when write about such a widespread phenomenon that parents often choose something more important than choosing some spare time to think about their children's education.
ps. in case more and more people become respnsible at least for what they say the world will start changing to the better
but there is always some "how?" ;

thank you.
