New Year… Of War

Another war over, the new one just begun.

This will not change. We will do what we are expected to do, or what we are manipulated to do if you wish.

We will keep living in our warm and safe homes, eat high quality food, drink clear water, listen to the good music, watch TV, ride limousines, wait for the miracles, read bestselling books, plan vacations, be philosophers, buy new cars, fly across the Earth with discounts, enjoy sun and sand, vote for illusive changes, love, go to doctors, dream impossible dreams only because they are certainly impossible, clean garages, present gifts, have countless conversations with each over, pray, blame politicians, sleep well, read the news, smile all day long because life is so wonderful.

They will fight for survival, they will die in agony, they will bury their children, they will starve, they will go for water – not to school, they will run, their life will hang on a thread.

But they are pure abstraction. High quality artistic photos on exhibitions in the name of humanity. The humanity. We hear the meaningless numbers. 100 killed, 1000 killed, 10000 killed — whatever, it is abstract numbers, isn’t it? Good for news headlines. Do they live and die for the hot news headlines? Maybe?

We don’t let the children to read, watch, see this gore. But this gore is the world in its essence. We don’t want this world, “not in my life”, we cocoon ourselves in our lofty ideals, our comfort zone.
